Radio Frequency (RF) with Forma-I delivers controlled, comfortable heat to the tissues around the eyelids. Heat warms and softens thickened oils within the meibomian glands, making them easier to express and helping the glands function more effectively.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) with Lumecca-I is used when dry eye is associated with inflammation, ocular rosacea or abnormal blood vessels around the eyelids. It delivers controlled pulses of light to the skin surrounding the eyes and targets abnormal superficial blood vessels that contribute to inflammation.

RF + IPL combination treatment is recommended depending on the underlying causes of your dry eye. When used together, RF and IPL can address both meibomian gland dysfunction and inflammation as part of a comprehensive dry-eye treatment plan.
